OBLIDAH was founded in 2017 by Oliver Williams to produce independent films, focussing on social issues caused by artificial intelligence, technology, and social media; and the rapid uptake of these tools into our daily lives.
In 2018 OBLIDAH 'green lit' their first independent feature film: 'Adira's Dream'. Principal photography took place over the course of four weeks in August 2018 and Post Production was completed in early 2019.
OBLIDAH have close ties with other industries. These include stills photographers, painters and illustrators, architects, and the Royal Ballet core. We pride ourselves on our regular collaborations and have been involved in many interdisciplinary projects. These relationships expand our creativity in film making, and understanding of cinema which was born out of the amalgamation of each of these practices.
